Weddings - Traditional. Redefined.

Happily redefining both traditional and contemporary event photography, Lauren specializes in high-quality, in-depth documentary coverage of weddings and all other celebratory events.

With over a 15 years of wedding experience Lauren documents, without artifice, moments that celebrate her clients and their families and friends by choosing precise authentic moments to capture. Using classical compositions with a modern edge, her goal is to create images and albums that will be meaningful to her clients both now and decades into the future. Stepping into moments with her subjects and then quietly out, she creates images that are both visually and emotionally rich, capturing with quality and consistency those moments that reveal less about the photographer and more about the subjects themselves.

Providing complete coverage of your event, including portraiture, her intimate, in-depth approach as a visual storyteller will leave you with priceless, timeless photographic artifacts.

Lauren’s client testimonials speak volumes about her passion, creativity, warmth, and outstanding individual customer service.

Documentary Canine Portraiture

A documentary approach to capturing life with your dog.

Photographing dogs as she does her brides and weddings, Lauren documents with passion and creativity the individuality of each, and their deep interconnection with their human companions. Not done in an artificial studio environment, Lauren’s documentary portraits are done in your home, on a favorite hiking trail, or any place that has meaning to you.

Don't worry if your dog can't stay still for a photo ~ that's the idea, catching their personalities in action! The portrait session is fun and stress-free as Lauren has years of experience handling her own high-energy Weim on professional commercial sets (see Sugar in the Spring 2008 Perry Ellis ad campaign!) as well as training her in competitive agility, flyball, and lure coursing.

Lauren has also recently been published in The Bark and had a feature article on her canine portrait service in AKC Family Dog magazine.

Please contact Lauren to receive detailed information and to schedule a portrait session to have your dog or any pet photographed doing what he or she loves to do! Young or old, pure breeds or mixed breeds, high-energy or low, capture your companion’s true character and devotion in photographs that you will cherish forever.
